What the job is about
As a Revenue Manager you will be part of an agile department consisting of 5 employees with many interfaces to the rest of the business.
Your role has both a strategic and operational dimension as you will be responsible for optimizing net value per passenger or per cabin with the goal of achieving total business revenue targets and drive business growth on the Copenhagen – Oslo route.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Optimize pricing and capacity for the route based on demand, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Ensure efficient capacity management, including adjusting departures through pricing and cabin availability.
- Continuously monitor and analyze booking flow, market trends, competitor pricing, and capacity utilization.
- Budgeting and forecasting of total revenue streams and overall route performance
- Development and implementation of pricing & revenue management strategies
- Prepare reports and analyses to support decision-making, including forecasts and performance tracking of both ticket price and onboard spend.
- Development and implementation of new reports and models that allow us to increase performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure successful campaign execution and the achievement of revenue targets.
Overall, you can expect to gain deep business understanding and a broad professional network within the route and be a part of a primary team overlooking and taking decisions based on customer data incl. ticket and car revenue, onboard spend per outlets and not least customer feedback.
What do we expect from you?
As a Revenue Manager you might have an educational background within Economics, Finance, Statistics or similar but the right skills are more important than your educational background. What we’d like you to bring are:
- Strong stakeholder management skills. The ability to align people around the same targets and understanding
- A high-level command of Excel and Tableau/Power BI
- Good analytical and numerical skills and great commercial understanding
- Prior experience within revenue and yield management and pricing – preferably from the hospitality or transportation industry, but it is not a requirement. What is most important is that you can analyze and advise on complex products with multiple dimensions
- The ability to work under your own initiative in a highly pressured environment
- As our company language is English, we also expect you to be fluent in English both verbal and written
